While Canada is known more for hockey, there is plenty of representation in the NFL as well. Canada has produced plenty of talented football players who have competed in both the CFL and NFL. The CFL remains Canada’s primary football league, but there are a growing number of Canadian football players who are making an impact south of the border.

1. Alaric Jackson

The Windsor, Ontario native is one of the most accomplished Canadian players in the NFL today. Jackson has established himself as a crucial member of the Los Angeles Rams’ offensive line and has made 51 starts over his first five seasons in the league. This includes being a part of the Super Bowl-winning Rams team in 2021. 

2. Jevon Holland

Holland made his name while a member of the Miami Dolphins and is now playing for the New York Giants in the Big Apple. He is a feared defensive back, known for huge hits and has six career interceptions, including one taken back for a pick-six touchdown. 

3. Chase Brown

Chase Brown has emerged as the Cincinnati Bengals’ top rushing option and enjoyed a breakout year in 2025 with 11 total touchdowns and 1,456 yards from scrimmage. 

4. Josh Palmer

Palmer started his career with the Los Angeles Chargers but is now a member of the Buffalo Bills. With Josh Allen as the quarterback, the Bills are always a Super Bowl contender, and Palmer has the proven ability to be a solid receiver when called upon. He has ten touchdowns in his five NFL seasons and has accumulated over 2,600 yards from scrimmage. 

5. Theo Johnson

Johnson is emerging as one of the top young tight ends in the NFL. The Winnipeg, Manitoba native caught five touchdowns on 528 total yards last season for the New York Giants. 

5. Chuba Hubbard

Hubbard has been a solid running back for the Carolina Panthers and was rewarded with a four-year, $33.2 million extension last season. He’s accumulated 28 total touchdowns in his five NFL seasons and has accumulated more than 4,600 yards from scrimmage in his career. 

6. Matthew Bergeron

Quebec’s Matthew Bergeron continues to anchor the Atlanta Falcons’ offensive line. The Victoriaville native has started all 34 games over the previous two seasons, making him one of the most reliable Canadian offensive linemen in the league. In his three seasons with the Falcons, Bergeron has never been on the field for less than 94% of the team’s snaps. 

7. Elic Ayomanor

The fourth-round pick for the Tennessee Titans is one of the newer Canadian NFL players. In his rookie season, Ayomanor notched 41 receptions for 515 yards and four touchdowns with rookie quarterback Cam Ward.
